Early Release Only on Kickstarter!
Secrets & Scents is Book 1 in a brand new cozy mystery series. Nine books are planned. Wow! The setting? A bookstore and candle shop - two of my favorite places to visit! (Deep breath, ahh.)
The Premise... Kelli & Jo are quitting their jobs in Silicon Valley and moving to Sugar Pine Station, a quaint village nestled in the lower Sierra Nevada Mountains on the way to Yosemite. Jo likes books, Kelli likes candles...so why not open a store together?
The Mystery... As the two friends begin renovations, they discover a mysterious bundle of letters hidden in a wall for nearly fifty years. Each of these nine envelopes contains an enigmatic prophecy, the first of which seems to come true on the morning of their Grand Opening!
What have Kelli & Jo gotten themselves into? Will the two reluctant sleuths solve the crime of the moment. And, as the series progresses, will they finally unravel the ongoing mystery of the prophetic notes?

What is Kickstarter?
Kicktarter is a platform where fans of . . . whatever - pick a category: books, games, art, crafts, etc. - can go direct to the creator and back their project. When the project meets its funding goal, backers get their rewards.
It’s been around awhile, but still Kickstarter is a relatively new way to “cut out the middle man” and allow fans and creators to meet and discover, in my case, new books!
Speaking of discovery, check out these two other cozy mysteries coming soon to KS.
Murder at Archly Manor by Sara Rosett - a 1920s Cozy Mystery
